Hi friend — I have news.

The studio is finished. I've officially moved in.

I want to give you a sense of what that means. Eleven years ago, I started my pottery journey in a spare-room closet. Not a metaphorical closet. An actual one. I worked there for three years, carrying heavy boxes of clay up to the second floor of our house every single day.

And now there's room. Room to stretch out, to organize my materials properly, to have more shelf space than I know what to do with. I keep walking in and not quite believing it.

None of it would exist without my husband, who has labored so hard to make this real — for me, and for Muddy Heart.

This is what slow-made actually looks like from the inside. Not a launch. Eleven years, and a closet, and a lot of stairs.
