Made-to-Order Shipping Times
Each piece begins production shortly after your order is placed.
Because handmade ceramics require careful drying, multiple stages of firing, and a slow creation process to ensure quality and durability, most orders ship within approximately 2–8 weeks.
Factors such as weather, kiln schedules, holiday seasons, and high order volume may occasionally affect turnaround times.
Estimated ship-by dates are listed on each product page, and I’ll always keep you updated if any unexpected delays arise.
Some things simply take time — and I truly believe receiving a handmade piece created especially for you is worth the wait.

In-Stock Items
Ready-to-ship items will typically ship within 2–5 business days.
Shipping Protection & Damaged Packages
Your order is carefully packaged and fully insured for replacement in the event of loss or shipping damage.
Damaged Items
If your items arrive damaged:
- Please email photos of both the item and packaging as soon as possible to hello@muddyheart.com
Lost Packages
If your package appears lost:
- Please contact me right away so I can help begin a package search and insurance claim
Please note that shipping insurance claims are time-sensitive and expire 31 days after shipment, so it’s important to contact me promptly.
Shipping Rates
US orders ship complimentary, fully insured, regardless of size. International shipping is calculated at checkout based on destination and weight.
Whenever possible, multiple items will be packed together to help reduce shipping costs.

Returns & Exchanges

Because every item is handmade to order, I accept returns and exchanges for store credit or replacement only on unused, undamaged items. see details below
Cancellations

Cancellations: Full refunds to the original payment method are accepted within 24 hours of purchase.
- After 24 hours, cancellations qualify for store credit only, as production has already begun
Returns & Exchanges
- Returns/Exchanges qualify for a store credit only. Please note that there is a 20% restocking fee - this fee is deducted from your store credit to help cover materials, processing, and a portion of the handmade production time involved in creating your original piece(s).
- Please contact me within 5 days of delivery to begin a return or exchange request
- Returned items must be unused and in their original condition
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or there was an error on my end:
