Returns & Exchanges
Every piece that leaves my studio is made by hand, with care, and made specifically for you. Please read this policy before placing your order so you feel completely confident in your purchase.
Order Cancellations
Because production begins promptly after an order is placed, cancellations are accepted within 48 hours of purchase only.
To request a cancellation within this window, email hello@muddyheart.com with your order number and we'll take care of it right away.
After 48 hours, materials have been committed and work has begun. Cancellations requested after this window are subject to a 20% cancellation fee, which covers materials and studio time already invested in your piece.
Returns & Exchanges
I want you to love what you receive. If something isn't right, I'm happy to consider returns and exchanges on a case-by-case basis, subject to the following:
Return requests must be submitted within 5 days of delivery
Items must be unused and undamaged
Approved returns are issued as store credit only — original shipping charges are not refundable
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer
A 20% restocking fee applies to all made-to-order returns
To begin a return request, email hello@muddyheart.com with your order number and a brief description of the concern.
Items That Cannot Be Returned or Exchanged
The following items are final sale:
- Custom and personalized orders (color choices, size selections, name stamps, or any piece made to your specifications)
- Items marked as sale or seconds
- Digital downloads
These pieces are created exclusively for you and cannot be restocked or resold — which is exactly what makes them special.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the piece and packaging and email hello@muddyheart.com within 5 days of delivery. I will make it right :)
